OUR PHILOSOPHY

Touch Institute Los Angeles (TILA) is committed to providing the very best in evidence-based pediatric, teen and adult touch therapy, massage therapy, sports therapy, organic skin therapy and complimentary health and skincare services in a family-friendly beach clinic where everyone is welcome!

Established in El Segundo on Main Street in 2011 as one of the first spa/clinics offering pediatric massage therapy in Los Angeles, TILA moved to its current Richmond Street location in 2015. Covid-19 hit Touch Institute hard in 2020 & 2021, as it did many small businesses, but we are thankful for the community support that allows us to provide our unique services to families throughout LA County.
The heart of TILA is the Center for Pediatric Touch Therapy. A Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist (CPMT) is specially trained and certified to meet the therapeutic needs of children and teens including developing athletes, well kids, and kids with pre-diagnosed physical or psychological conditions. Other services include infant massage education for parents and caregivers and sports therapy for kids & teens. Having been introduced to touch therapy for children when her own child was battling for his life in the NICU, it was Shannon's ambition to bring compassionate touch to children outside of the hospital setting. Shannon is a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist with a specialty in treating children with autism and an instructor for infant massage. In addition, Shannon is a Certified Sports Therapist, and certified in women's health, including pre & post natal massage, reflexology and lymphatic massage. Shannon has been licensed with the CAMTC since 2010 and established with the Board of Cosmetology since 2011.

Bodywork by Anthony - Anthony is an El Segundo local providing the very best in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. Anthony, is a Certified Sports Therapist, with over 10 years experience. He customizes treatments to individual needs using various techniques including ART, trigger point, reflexology, cupping, hot stone. & stretching. Whether you are an 18 year old athlete, an 80 year old weekend warrior, or someone in between, Anthony has a treatment to keep you moving and feeling your best! Skin Care by Natashia - Natashia has been providing personalized skin care in the South Bay for over 20 years. She is a master Eminence esthetician and proficient in facials, peels, and body treatments. Other specialties include microdermabrasion, Infra-Red Rejuvenation, and full body waxing. Clients especially love her brow design services and her skin care tips!
Skin by Shannon Murphy - Shannon Murphy is a life-long El Segundo resident and a teacher at Richmond School. When Shannon isn't teaching, she is available by advance appointment for her second passion - skin care & waxing! Clients especially love her body waxing technique - quick & painless!
